Web/Application Performance Analyst:

COCC is actively seeking a talented Web/Application Performance Analyst to join their Middleware Technology Services (MTS) team. This pivotal role centers around enhancing product performance and, necessitating a unique blend of technical prowess and effective communication skills. The successful candidate will play a significant role in driving growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and advancing technological capabilities.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in application technology support and possess a strong interest in performance metrics, and data analysis. They thrive on delving into datasets, extracting valuable insights, and deriving meaning from the numbers. Beyond comfort with numerical data, they are passionate about leveraging it to make informed decisions and drive improvements. This role demands the ability to interpret data from various tools, discern its implications for business performance, user experience, and operational efficiency, and actively engage in data-driven discussions. Key responsibilities:

  • Lead performance analysis and enhancement initiatives for applications, addressing inefficiencies to optimize user experience and operational effectiveness from the technology operations perspective.
  • Utilize monitoring tools regularly to analyze application performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. This includes analyzing response times, throughput, error rates, and other critical performance metrics.
  • Redesign alerting mechanisms for actionable insights, including performance-focused dashboards.
  • Evaluate and recommend infrastructure adjustments to optimize product deployment and performance.
  • Collaborate across teams to improve client user experience, proposing technical modifications as necessary.
  • Clearly communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in performance analysis preferred , with intermediate knowledge in VMware, Windows, Linux, Oracle, SQL Server, and .NET application monitoring a strong plus
  • Performance monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Site24x7, LogicMonitor), at least one preferred
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) a plus
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python); expertise in additional languages is a plus.
  • Ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences effectively.

The salary range for this role is $125,000 - 150,000 annually.
