EBAD seeks a skilled technician for the position of Energetics Technician, reporting to the Production Supervisor. The position is located in Simsbury, CT.Responsibilities:The Energetics Technician will perform a variety of tasks to build and package energetic devices in support of the Energetics Assembly Value Stream.Responsibilities include:
- Adherence to all safety standards and work instructions.
- Perform assembly and inspection operations in accordance with detailed manufacturing instructions, product drawings and quality plans.
- Perform coreload analysis on energetic materials.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records and documentation.
- Assist engineers in manufacturing process development activities under direction of the engineer's written instructions.
- Support inventory maintenance of component parts and materials.
- Setup and maintain work cells in accordance with 6S principles.
- Provide feedback to engineers and supervisor for improvements.
- Positive attitude, flexible and energetic, ability to work independently.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions in English.
- Must have a high school diploma.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with assembly operations including, but not limited to: torquing, bonding, cutting, filing, bending and laser welding.
- Experience with lab equipment including, but not limited to: precision weight scales, graduated cylinders, and calipers/micrometers.
- Experience with MS Office, specifically Excel.
