Summary

As a Manufacturing Operations Manager, you'll oversee manufacturing teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You'll oversee teams of manufacturing professionals or complex operations teams. You'll ensure performance and results are achieved, develop efficient workflows, and lead through influence.

Responsibilities

  • Hiring, training, and managing operations team members to build a high-performing team.
  • Managing operations teams to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Developing and implementing operational policies, procedures, and efficient operational workflows,
  • Leveraging daily visual management to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, as well as industry standards.

Requirements

  • Possess a background in manufacturing operations, or a related field.
  • Ability to set and manage goals, allocate resources, and make high quality, timely decisions.
  • Proven ability to oversee teams, complex processes, or complex programs in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles/Six Sigma and ability to drive continuous improvement.
  • Have excellent leadership, communication skills and skilled in project management and problem-solving.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The base pay for this position ranges from $113,774 to $136,439per year depending on the geographic market.
  • Some positions may be eligible for an annual bonus based on company performance.
