Responsible for managing the Hospital Billing (HB) Analytics division analysts and reporting functions for the Hospital Billing and the Single Billing Office (SBO) Divisions of the Revenue Cycle.

Major Responsibilities:

*Monitors the HB Analytics team actively and ensures appropriate priority resolution.

*Manages and maintains current and active knowledge of the reporting systems, performs trending and analysis, and prioritizes analytics and reports requests.

*Maintains trackers and develops reports including month end reporting and performance metrics and utilizes subject matter knowledge to supports the analysis.

*Supports audits' report requests from the active and the legacy systems.

*Leads or performs tasks related to the tracking report requests and documenting instructions, procedures, workflow processes and control requirements.

*Collaborates with all departments and serves as a liaison between the HB Analysts team, Hospital Billing teams, the SBO and the IS Business Intelligence team for effective responses to users' needs.

*Specifies and coordinates training needs and provides coaching and training to foster the analysts' self-sufficiency.Identifies and escalates issues and trends identified to further educate the staff.

*Maintains competency in relative operations and reporting software applicationsand optimizes system(s) utilization.

*Leads special analysis, directs the preparation and the reconciliations for all report requests, developsanalysis summaries and serves as a reporting lead role for systems upgrades.

*Communicates regularly with staff, including scheduling meetings, relaying work instructions from upper management and sharing important information and updates.

*Participates and contributes to the department's goals and objectives in a positive and proactive manner.

*Submits payroll and keeps staff time and attendance records.

*Demonstrates excellent attendance and maintains and fosters an organized, clean and safe work environment.

*Serves as a key member of the management staff in the planning and implementation of all IT upgrades, enhancements, and new products, establishing compliance of multidisciplinary project plans.

Position Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:

Required:

*Bachelor of Science or Business Administration or Health Administration related field.

Experience/Skill:

Required:

*Four to six years of experience in a health care business office or two to four years of experience in a health care billing office in a supervisory role.

*Excellent analytic skills and the ability to work in Microsoft Office applications at an advanced level.

*Computer skills and the ability to successfully use multiple data systems.

*Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance.

Preferred:

*Two to four years reporting orhealth caremanagerial experience.

*Knowledge of EPIC EHR system.

*Demonstrated leadership ability, initiative, teamwork, and assertiveness.
