Hours: First shift, 38.75 hours per week. No weekends, evenings, or holidays

Location: 123 Summer St, Worcester, MA 01608

Specialty: Infectious Disease

The Licensed Practical Nurse performs a variety of duties related to providing patient care. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare examination rooms and sterilizing equipment
  • Room patients, obtain health history, check vital signs and perform EKG’s
  • Administer injections and collect specimens
  • Document patient care using NextGen electronic medical record software
  • Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork
  • Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with minor, in-office procedures

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current, unrestricted nursing license (i.e. RN, LPN, LVN) in the state of Massachusetts
  • Ability to commute to the office location
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance
