PURPOSE: This position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and quality coffee and food products to guests at Caribou inside of Nickelodeon Universe.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Perform necessary tasks in setting up Caribou and serving food and drink items
• Prepare Caribou drinks to with focus on quality, accuracy and consistency when making drinks in Caribou
• Ensure Caribou standards are met concerning all drink and food products
• Responsible for following food safety policies and procedures per the MN Health Code
• Maintain knowledge of seasonal coffees, drinks and food items
• Maintain product knowledge of food items, drink items and ingredients
• Utilizing suggestive selling techniques to increase sales
• Provide outstanding guest service by greeting guests courteously, uncovering their needs, and giving polite parting remarks
• Ensure standards of personal hygiene, food safety and sanitation are met and maintained
• Oversee safety and cleanliness of selling area
• Answer general guest questions or direct guests to resources for answers
• Ring and count out funds accurately and timely following established cash handling procedures
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions and discounts
• May assist in other departments as needed, such as but not limited to, rides and retail
• Regular, reliable and consistent attendance
• Additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must have outstanding guest service skills
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must have ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and some late evenings for private events

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• Previous cash handling experience preferred
• Previous Barista, food service and guest service experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of computers is preferred
