Under the direction of the Clinical Team Manager and within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures, responsible for providing services for home care patients in accordance with the plan of care. Services are provided under the direction of the attending physician with the participation of the family and other members of the inter-disciplinary team, as indicated.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program, accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association; or eligible for the National Registration examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association required.

Current licensure and registration as an Occupational Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required. Current CPR certification required.

Minimum of one (1) year occupational therapist experience in a health care facility or equivalent experience required. Home care experience preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge in the principles of occupational therapy required. Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills required.

Current valid driver's license, good driving record and access to or own transportation required.
